Hiring: Landscaping Laborer Job (Learn to HydroSeed)

Grass Master, an innovative leader in lawn solutions based in Woodinville, Washington. Every morning our team arrives at the warehouse, load trucks, and drive out to spray/install hydroseed material. You are home every night, with flexibility around growing seasons.

We are seeking an entry-level Landscaping Laborer with a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn. You have the opportunity to grow into a skilled Hydroseeding Installer. This job is BEST for people who love to work hard, want to be the best, help teammates, are nice to customers, like learning about engines, trucks, and machines, and aren’t afraid to get dirty to finish the job.

No prior experience in hydroseeding is required, making this an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to start a career in landscaping and environmental beautification.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in operating hydroseeding equipment and applying seed mixtures across various landscapes.
  • Learn to mix and prepare hydroseeding slurry, ensuring balanced composition for optimal lawn growth.
  • Participate in site assessments to understand terrain and soil conditions.
  • Support in maintaining and managing irrigation systems post-hydroseeding to facilitate seed germination and growth.
  • Collaborate with team members and clients to ensure visions are brought to life and to provide guidance on lawn care post-application.
  • Engage in regular maintenance and care of equipment, including hydroseeding machinery.
  • Contribute to the development of customized hydroseed mixtures suited to different soil types and environmental conditions.

Qualifications

  • No prior experience in hydroseeding required; training will be provided.
  • Interest or background in landscaping, agriculture, or related fields is a plus.
  • Physical ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Eagerness to learn and grow in the field, with a commitment to eco-friendly practices and innovation in lawn care.
